‘why it’s important to visualize a shield’

Do you know the feeling when you wake up and your energy is at this very high level? You feel like you can take over the world! You’re happy, full of excitement. Singing, smiling, dancing instead of walking in the streets. You feel happy, you look happy and everything makes you happy.

And then, a few hours later, you notice that this feeling is slipping away. Sometimes slowly, sometimes very fast. You dont know how or why and your surprised.You think: what the fuck happened? How can this be? You dont know what to do and you start to feel empty.. like you’re  battery is running low.

The contrast is so very big with the mornings and the afternoons that it is very hard to imagine for the people around you who are not high sensitive. This why most of the time it’s hard  to talk about it. So what you do is, you decide to keep your mouth shut and then you start to feel also alone. Empty and alone. Great…

This past year i felt like this for so many times until i learned that the reason why this happens is because i am a high sensitive person who was not grounded and not protected. And this is a very dangerous combination. We (high sensitive people ) pick up (other people’s) energies.
What, is this possible? i bet you’re thinking this right now. Well yes it is!I know…, it kinda sounds and feels like some kind of fairy tale huh. That’s also what i thought when i first heard about it. I mean.. can you  image it? it’s weird huh? But luckily for us it is true.

When you start to realize this, you’ll realize that you can do something about it,yourself. Wauw, great news huh?!
The thing is, if we do not protect ourselves we get overloaded and as a result of that exhausted. Very exhausted.You can think of it as a sponse that gets filled with water and then gets heavy because it got too much and the water is not getting out of it. That is precisely what happens to us.

So if we do not want that to happen to us we have to protect ourselves. The question is; How many times do we do that? The answer is try to do this every day and sometimes a couple of times a day. But how do you do that? Try this; meditate every morning when you wake up.

How does this work? what do we do?
Take a deep breath (a couple of times) and then you visualize getting roots. You visualize they’re growing from your feet into the ground. Further and further into the earth till they reach the middle of the earth. This is to make sure that you’re grounded. This is very important. After this you visualize a bubble or a shield around you. Something from where you can look to the outside but there is nothing that can come to the inside.

In the beginning it can be dififcult to concentrate but you’ll notice that if you do this more often it will be easier and it will not take so much of you’re time. Also you will notice the difference and feel more energetic and stronger too.
